Can’t wait to attend congress, but need to convince your supervisor? The resources below will help!

General tips:

  • Take advantage of special rates. View registration rates to determine if you are eligible for student, retired, or Sigma member discounts. You can also save US $100 if you register early!
  • Think about the return on investment for you, as well as your employer. Suggest that you will share what you learned with other members of your organization after the event. You could deliver a short presentation after the event and/or provide a document with key takeaways for your colleagues.
  • Prepare a plan for how your workload will be covered while you’re away.
  • Build a networking list. Make a list of speakers, presenters, exhibitors, and other industry leaders you will meet at this event and how these connections can help you grow professionally.
