Members may also apply for financial assistance with membership dues through the Edith Anderson Membership Subsidy.

Are membership dues tax deductible?
Yes - if paying the dues help you carry out the duties of your job. If so, they are deductible as unreimbursed employee expenses. The actual amount the taxpayer will be able to deduct is subject to specific limitations based upon the individual's tax status. The dues are not deductible as contributions. If an individual does make a separate contribution in addition to paying their dues then the additional amount only is deductible as a contribution.
