Membership dues for Sigma are comprised of international and chapter fees. As of 1 April 2022, the international dues are:

            High Income     US $80.00

            Middle Income  US $32.00

            Low Income      US $16.00

*These fee categories are based on a country’s GNI per capita as defined by World Bank Basic Indicators table.

Chapter fees are set by individual chapters. A listing of chapter fees can be found within the Chapter Directory. Members that need assistance with the cost of dues can submit an Edith Anderson Membership Subsidy request form.  

Change in international membership dues 
After thoughtful deliberations by the International Board of Directors, and in accordance with the international bylaws, the Board voted to increase the international dues charged to new and returning Sigma members. Based on the international bylaws, the amount of the increase was determined by the Consumer Price Index (CPI). Effective 1 April 2022, the international member dues will increase to US $80 for high income countries. This adjustment will help ensure Sigma continues to support and develop nurses around the globe.
