Sigma Foundation for Nursing provides new scholarship for nursing students

The scholarship is made possible through a grant from the Helene Fuld Health Trust, a private funder devoted to nursing students and nursing education.
INDIANAPOLIS — Sigma is proud to announce a new scholarship available for nursing students made possible through a gift to the Sigma Foundation for Nursing. The Helene Fuld Trust Scholarship will be available to students currently enrolled in or admitted to either an Accelerated Second Degree or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) program at an accredited US school of nursing.

The scholarship, up to US $5,000, will be awarded per academic year, beginning with the 2020-2021 academic year. Applications will open in early January 2020 and will close in April 2020.

Thanks to the generous support of the Helene Fuld Trust, Sigma can now offer academic scholarships to help students offset the cost of their nursing education,” says Sigma President Richard Ricciardi. "This new scholarship will change lives, and it directly impacts Sigma’s mission of developing nurse leaders anywhere to improve healthcare everywhere.”
