Sigma offers members a variety of ways to serve at chapter, regional, and international levels.

As we approach the 45th Biennial Convention in 2019, the Leadership Succession Committee has begun soliciting nominations for the following available leadership positions:

Board Positions

-Vice president
-Treasurer
-Director-at-large
-Regional Chapters Coordinating
   Committee Chair

Non-Board Positions

-Governance Committee
-Leadership Succession Committee
-Regional Chapter Coordinators

Purpose

The purpose of the Leadership Succession Committee is to prepare a diverse biennial ballot reflective of the membership and to develop members in organizational leadership roles.

Expected Outcomes

  • Vet nominees and present a ballot for the Board of Directors and elected committees that reflects the diversity of membership.

  • Develop and mentor members for leadership positions at all levels of the organization.

  • Prepare membership materials to elicit nominations

  • Evaluate campaign guidelines and revise as needed in alignment with contemporary and global practice
