Purpose

The Showcase of Regional Excellence (SRE) was designed to recognize the good work of chapters in relation to the Presidential Call to Action. Recognition was given at the regional level and spanned the course of the biennium. The decision was made to sunset the recognition during the 2021-2023 biennium. 






History

The 2021-2023 Regional Chapters Coordinating Committee was charged with evaluating the Showcase of Regional Excellence and created the new Regional Recognition to better support each individual region. The criteria and timelines for this new recognition will be determined by each Regional Coordinator to better align with priorities in each Region.





Call to Action

Beginning with the 2021-2023 biennium, what was previously a presidential call to action has transitioned to be an organizational call to action with influence from the Board of Directors. As mentioned in the All Chapter Officers Workgroup, the call to action Be Bold has been incorporated into the Chapter Key Award as a bonus section.
